In her final moments during the Republican era, Qiao Yueshu learns that she failed to enter university because her husband swapped her admission letter and gave it to her younger sister, leading her to die in resentment. After being reborn, the first thing she does is reclaim her rightful admission letter and decide to leave. But Lu Yuanzhou mistakenly thinks she is merely throwing a tantrum and takes the fake admission letter to the university with Qiao Jingyi.
